What about Glycerin?

Glycerin is a naturally occurring substance in handmade soaps.  All Humble Goat soaps contain glycerin.  

Just like we care what we put into our bodies, we should also care for our largest organ, skin, and know what we put on it.  At Humble Goat we only use quality, natural products.

Coconut Oil

Decreases anti-oxidative stress and has anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory properties.

Olive Oil

Mild to skin and moisturizing, Hydrating and gentle, Vitamin E & polyphenols 

Sunflower Oil

Rich in Essential fatty acids and Vitamin E, conditioning to the skin.

Castor Oil

Attracts moisture to the skin, conditioning and moisturizing

Mango Butter

Contains antioxidants and Vitamins A & C, conditioning and moisturizing., softens and plumps reducing fine lines, may heal persistent dry skin.

Shea Butter

Contains beneficial minerals and Vitamins A & C, provides a silky, luxurious feeling on the skin.

Kokum Butter

Helps to prevent dry skin, promotes the regeneration of healthy skin cells, softens and restores flexibility, high in antioxidants

Of course too much of a good thing can be drying, so our proprietary recipes balance the oils and butters in combinations to take advantage of all the good they provide.

Essential oils and blends are used to to scent soaps.  Soaps with no colorings or scents are also available and are recommended for sensitive skin.

Alkanet, Beet Root, Spirulina, Turmeric, Indigo, Charcoal are some of the colorings used.  Occasionally, food grade soap colorant is used to achieve a specific look.

Mica powder is used to decorate the soaps, because soap should be fun too!  The powder will fade away after a few washes.

At the Humble Goat we only make soap the old fashioned way, there are no melt and pours for sell here with their associated chemicals and additives.  Every product is labeled with the ingredients used.  Since soap is a unique product, labeling is not required, but we are proud of what we use and want you to know what's in your soap.
